This Privacy Policy explains how MN Booth LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the publisher of LastItem, handles information in the LastItem iPhone app and on lastitem.app.
The short version: LastItem has no account, advertising, app analytics, or developer-operated backend. Your checklist content is processed on your device unless you deliberately export checklist data, share a kit file, or send information to support.
Information in the app
LastItem may store the following information locally on your device so its features work:
- Checklist data: kit and item names, categories, quantities, required status, ordering, and notes.
- Check history: departure, return, and custom session snapshots, completion state, dates, and notes.
- Optional photos: resized copies of images you choose for items when using the Pro feature.
- Preferences: appearance, haptic, default-check, first-launch, and active-session settings.
- Purchase state: a non-authoritative local cache of Pro access. Apple remains the source of verified transaction information.
The app does not transmit checklist content, photos, free-form text, location, contacts, device identifiers, or interaction events to MN Booth LLC. Normal Apple device backup and restore behavior may include local app data depending on your system settings.
Photos and exports
The system photo picker lets you choose specific media without giving LastItem broad access to your photo library. The app processes selected images into smaller local JPEG files. Item photos are not included in JSON exports or shared-kit files.
A full checklist export is created only after a Pro user requests and confirms it. The versioned file may contain kits, items, notes, dates, and check-history snapshots.
A shared-kit file is created only after you review and confirm the handoff. It contains the selected kit and its active item names, quantities, Required state, categories, notes, and ordering. It excludes photos, archived items, internal identifiers, and check history. Importing creates a separate local copy; there is no ongoing synchronization.
Both features use Apple’s system share or file interfaces so you choose the destination or source. Once you send a file to another person, app, or service, that recipient or destination’s privacy and retention practices apply.
Purchases
LastItem uses Apple StoreKit to offer and restore the optional LastItem Pro non-consumable purchase. Apple handles payment and purchase history. We do not receive your complete payment-card details. Apple’s privacy terms and your Apple Account settings govern Apple’s processing.
Diagnostics
The app can write fixed, content-free operational messages to Apple’s unified logging system when an operation succeeds or fails. Those messages are designed to exclude user-entered names, notes, photos, paths, tag identifiers, exported content, and other checklist details. Apple and device diagnostic settings govern access and retention.
Website
This website is a static Cloudflare Pages site. We do not use client-side analytics, advertising, accounts, contact forms, tracking pixels, or non-essential cookies. When you visit, Cloudflare may process network and request information—such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals—to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare acts under its own privacy commitments and applicable service terms.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the address, subject, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, diagnose the reported issue, protect our service, and keep records where reasonably necessary. Please do not send passwords, full checklist exports, private client names, or sensitive photos.
You can ask us to delete support correspondence unless we need to retain it for security, legal, or recordkeeping obligations.
Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you delete individual records, use Delete All Data, or remove the app, subject to Apple backup and restore behavior. Check history keeps independent snapshots when a source kit changes or is deleted. Delete All Data removes local checklist records, preferences, the local Pro cache, temporary exports and shared-kit files, and locally stored item photos; it does not remove Apple’s purchase history.
Children’s privacy
LastItem is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or analytics service because the app has neither.
International use
Website and support providers may process information in locations outside your state, province, or country. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and law. The app’s checklist content is not sent to our website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, law, or our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. We will not describe a new data practice as private or local until it is actually reflected in the shipped app.
